WATERCOLOR ART CONTEST RULES<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

TERMS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Watercolor Art Prize Contest (the \u201cContest\u201d) is an annual contest that happens through the year. The contest is a project of ARTCENRON. \u00a0This year\u2019s\u00a0Watercolor Art Prize Contest begins January 31, 2019, and ends January 31, 2020, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).<\/strong>\u00a0 All entries must be received by the stipulated date and time. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these official rules (\u201cOfficial Rules\u201d). By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to the Official Rules and warrants that his or her entry complies with all requirements set out in the Official Rules and Terms and Conditions. This is a skill-based contest and chance plays no part in the determination of winners. Please read the terms & condition before entering the contest. SPONSOR:\u00a0Sponsor is ARTCENTRON &<\/strong> Watercolor Art Prize \u00a0(\u201cSponsor\u201d).<\/strong><\/p>\n

ELIGIBILITY<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Artcentron Watercolor Art Prize Contest is open to all amateur, aspiring and professional watercolor artists who do NOT reside in Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and where prohibited. Entrants must be 18 years or older. Entrants under 18 years of age require the permission of parent or guardian.<\/p>\n

Employees of ARTCENTRON & Watercolor Art Prize, and its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) or persons living in the same households of such employees, whether or not related are not eligible.<\/p>\n

NUMBER OF ENTRIES<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Entrants may submit an unlimited number of entries for the competition. Photographs of works will not be returned, so please make duplicates for your own files.\u00a0 Each entry consists of a photograph(s) and entry fee.<\/p>\n

ENTRY FEES:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

1 Image: $11, 3 Images: $29, 5 Images: $49, 10 Images $99, 15 Images: $149, 20 Images: $181, 25 Images: $249, 30 Images: \u00a0$281, 35 Images: \u00a0$331, 40 Images:\u00a0 $381 . There are no limits on the number of entries, however, we recommend that you submit only your best ones.<\/p>\n

Entry fee is non-refundable.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0ENTRY DETAILS<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Entrants in the\u00a0Watercolor Art Prize Contest must include required information, including name, address, telephone number, email address, and photo caption; and submit along with your photograph and fee in accordance with the instructions that follow. By submitting your entries, you are agreeing to our contest rules and Terms and Condition.<\/p>\n

CATEGORIES INCLUDE <\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract,\u00a0Animals, Architecture, Floral, Landscape, Lifestyle, Nature, Panorama, People, Portrait, Still Life, Sunset, Travel, Trees<\/p>\n

These categories are just guides. \u00a0Winners will be selected from all entries based on the quality of their works.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There is no limit on the number of entries per person. Each entry must comply with our Term and official rule as well as the following requirements:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Photographs of works must be in digital format. Only online entries will be eligible. No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this Contest.<\/li>\n
  2. All digital files must not be more than 6.5 megabytes or smaller, must be in JPEG or .jpg format, and must be at least 770 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 770 pixels tall (if a vertical image). It could go as far as 1000 pixels. Images of paintings taking with a phone\u00a0must be submitted at their highest resolution.<\/li>\n
  3. Images that have won an award in the Watercolor Art Prize are not eligible for the contest.<\/li>\n
  4. The artwork should be photographed professionally on a white background, clean edges without a border or frame<\/li>\n
  5. No extra attachments (eg. frames, borders, etc.) on either the digital or real painting.<\/li>\n
  6. Entries with attachments (eg. frames, borders, etc.) will not be considered.<\/li>\n
  7. All artwork should be original works not copies of other\u2019s work or copied from photos.<\/li>\n
  8. Images of your watercolor painting must represent the original image. Any changes or manipulation of the photograph of the painting that deviates from the original work is unacceptable and renders the entry ineligible for a prize.<\/li>\n
  9. The painting, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material created by the Contest entrant. By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted watercolor painting is an original work created solely by the entrant; that the painting does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy\/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the painting.<\/li>\n
  10. The painting must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of the Sponsor, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.<\/li>\n
  11. The caption must be complete and accurate, sufficient to convey the circumstances or idea behind the creation of the painting. Disguising or misrepresenting the origin of your content is cause for disqualification.<\/li>\n
  12. Watermarks are unacceptable. Unless Sponsor receives a non-watermarked version of the entry within ten (10) days following its request, the entry will be disqualified.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The entries will be judged in accordance with the Judging Criteria, as defined below. All entries must be submitted and received by the stipulated date. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. Entries must be made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. \u201cAuthorized account holder\u201d is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, internet domain owner, or other person or organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor reserves the right to examine the original photograph\/source material in order to confirm compliance with these rules.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    JUDGING<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    The Watercolor Art Prize entries will be judged based on creativity, quality, genuineness,\u00a0artistic merit, originality, subject, style, creative use of the medium, \u00a0and authenticity of the content.<\/p>\n

    Judging will be conducted by editors at of Artcentron, the Watercolor Art Prize and other selected jury. Judges will select the winner from 10 finalists. Finalists will be notified of their status on November\u00a0 20, 2019, and winners will be announced December 20, 2019.<\/p>\n

    Watercolor Art Prize will notify the winners of the photo contest through the contact information provided at the time of entry. Artcentron & Watercolor Art Prize reserves the right to disqualify anyone who fails to respond to the notification within seven (7) days.<\/p>\n

    Decisions of the Judges are final and binding.<\/strong><\/p>\n
